What Talk With My Kids Is
Talk With My Kids is a parent-facing tool that helps parents and caregivers find thoughtful conversation prompts for everyday family moments.
The service may include prompts for bedtime, after school, car rides, dinner, big feelings, repair after conflict, trust-building, emotional check-ins, and age-specific conversations.
Talk With My Kids is designed to help parents prepare for conversations. It is not a substitute for your own judgment, professional support, therapy, medical advice, emergency help, or legal advice.
Use it before the moment, not instead of the moment.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or use Talk With My Kids.
Talk With My Kids is intended for parents, guardians, and caregivers. Children may not create accounts or use the service independently.
By using the service, you represent that you have the legal authority to use it and, where applicable, to enter information about children in your care.
Accounts
You may need an account to access certain features.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Not share your account with unauthorized users
- Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
- Be responsible for activity that occurs under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for Talk With My Kids, users, children, or others.
Parent Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use prompts, suggestions, notes, and other content from Talk With My Kids.
Every child, family, and situation is different. You should use your own judgment before using any prompt or suggestion.
You are responsible for deciding:
- What information to enter
- Which prompts are appropriate
- When to ask a question
- Whether a moment needs more support than the service can provide
- Whether to seek professional, medical, legal, therapeutic, school, or emergency help
Talk With My Kids does not replace your role as the parent, guardian, or caregiver.
Not Therapy, Medical Advice, Or Emergency Support
Talk With My Kids does not provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, crisis intervention, medical advice, mental health treatment, legal advice, or professional services.
The prompts and content are for general educational and informational purposes only.
If you or your child may be in danger, experiencing a crisis, or facing an emergency, call emergency services or contact a qualified professional immediately.
Do not rely on Talk With My Kids for urgent or emergency situations.
AI-Supported And Automated Features
Talk With My Kids may use automated or AI-supported systems to help generate, organize, personalize, or recommend prompts.
AI-supported outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or not suitable for your specific child or situation.
You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any prompt or suggestion.
Do not enter information that you do not want processed by the service.
User Content
You may be able to enter, upload, save, or submit information, such as notes, child profile details, preferences, reflections, completed prompts, feedback, or support messages.
You retain ownership of the content you provide.
You give Talk With My Kids a limited license to use, host, store, process, reproduce, modify, and display your content only as needed to operate, provide, improve, secure, and support the service.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide any content you submit, including information about children in your care.
You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, invasive of privacy, infringing, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate.
Sensitive Information
Talk With My Kids is not intended to store highly sensitive information.
Do not submit information such as:
- Social Security numbers
- Financial account numbers
- Medical records
- Therapy records
- Legal case details
- School disciplinary records
- Highly sensitive identifying information
- Emergency or crisis information
If you choose to enter sensitive information, you do so at your own risk.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes
- Use the service to harass, exploit, harm, or manipulate children or others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts
- Interfere with the security or operation of the service

Subscriptions And Payments
Talk With My Kids may offer free and paid features.
If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, you agree to the pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms shown at the time of purchase.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers or app store platforms. Their terms may also apply.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled.
You are responsible for canceling before renewal if you do not want to continue a paid subscription.
Refunds
Refunds, if any, will be handled according to the terms shown at purchase or the policies of the payment provider or app store platform used for the transaction.
Intellectual Property
Talk With My Kids, including the website, app, prompts, designs, text, graphics, logos, features, code, and other materials, is owned by Talk With My Kids or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial family use.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, modify, or create derivative works from Talk With My Kids content except as allowed by these Terms or with written permission.
Limited Personal Use Of Prompts
You may use Talk With My Kids prompts for personal conversations with children in your care.
You may not resell, republish, package, distribute, or use the prompts to create a competing service, course, product, database, app, or content library without permission.
Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, feedback, or improvement requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.

Talk With My Kids may include links to or integrations with third-party services.

We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, complete, or appropriate for every family, child, or situation.
We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Talk With My Kids and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Talk With My Kids in the three months before the claim arose, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Talk With My Kids and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the service
- Your content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of another person’s rights
- Your misuse of prompts, recommendations, or content
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless another jurisdiction is required by applicable law.

Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at talkwithmykids@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
If we cannot resolve the issue informally, disputes will be handled in the courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

When we update them, we will revise the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the website, app, or email.
Your continued use of Talk With My Kids after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
